Tour Details

Day 1: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

You enjoy morning breakfast and drive to Murchison Falls National Park with a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking. After continue to Murchison Falls, where you will visit the top of the falls and then proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Game drive and Launch Cruise in Murchison Falls National Park

Early morning breakfast and then go for a game drive where you will spot various animal species like elephants, giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs among others. In the afternoon, you will go for a launch cruise on the park’s main tourist attraction the unique Murchison Falls as well as the River Nile with its streaming hippo and serried ranges of crocodile along the sandbanks, as well as large numbers of different species getting down to drink & bathe. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Drive to Kibale National Park

You will have breakfast and drive to Kibale forest national park. This is a full day drive with lunch in Fort portal town and a visit to Amabeere Ganyinamwiru “stalagmites site” and crater lakes. Proceed to the lodge for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking, Bigodi Wetland Walk and Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have early morning breakfast and go for briefing and start Chimpanzee trekking. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale’s 795km2 National Park contains one of the most beautiful and with the most varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda. This is place to a number of forest wildlife, most especially 13 species of primate coupled with chimpanzees.

After trekking, you will have lunch and then visit Bigodi wetland where you will experience a lot of bird life and unspoiled nature to spice up your Budget Uganda safari! Later transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Game Drive and Launch Cruise to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will go for early morning game drive in the Kasenyi sector where you may spot various animals like the elephants, Uganda kobs, leopards among others. Return to the lodge for late breakfast, in the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise where you will spot various water animals like Hippos and crocodiles, the cruise will also enrich you with various water birds. Dinner and overnight at your booked lodge.

Day 6: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After having your morning breakfast, you will set off for Bwindi passing through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park where you may spot the famous tree climbing lions. You will have lunch en-route, arriving in Bwindi in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Lodge.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking and Batwa Visit in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters for briefing and go for gorilla trekking. This could take 4-6 hours depending on the movements of the gorillas. Later in the evening, you take a tour to Batwa people to explore the livings standards as well as cultural dances. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge.

Day 8: Drive to Lake Bunyonyi and Boat Ride/Canoeing.

You will have breakfast and head off to Lake Bunyonyi for a canoe-ride on Lake Bunyonyi. The landscape around the lake is made up of steep slopes covered with lush green vegetation protruding from the water’s edge. Bunyonyi means “place of little birds” and as the name suggests, there is plenty of birdlife around the lake. You can get to know the several islands on the Lake, Late in the evening; you will visit the local families and admire views of volcanoes. Return to lodge/Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park

You will enjoy your morning breakfast and transfer to Lake Mburo national park with a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch and then continue to the Park. In the evening, you will go for a game drive to see wildlife species like the Zebra, warthog, Elands, Impala among others. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Guided Game Walk and Drive to Jinja

You will go for an early morning guided game walk; the park is home to herds of Impalas, as well as the more uncommon Topis, Elands, and Klipspringer. Zebras and buffaloes also graze there. Return to the lodge for breakfast, and then drive to Jinja with a stopover at the Equator for lunch break and taking memorable photos while standing on the two poles of the Equator. Dinner and overnight at Lodge/Hotel.

Day 11: Full Day White Water Rafting in Jinja.

You will enjoy early morning breakfast and go for full a day white water rafting. And if time allows, you take a boat to explore the source of River Nile. Later drive to Kampala for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: Kampala City Tour and Drive to Entebbe Airport

You will enjoy breakfast, go for a brief Kampala City Tour, and later transfer to Entebbe Airport for your flight back home with fond memories of your Uganda safari!

Safari Requirements:

  • A Visa – you can apply for the visa online or very easily get one at the point of entry into the country (airport)
  • Gorilla trekking permit – You can apply and secure permit at a standard fee (USD600)
  • Travel &Health insurance – This should be arranged by you in your home country before you travel.
