4 Days Wildlife Safari in Queen Elizabeth Park

Day 1: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After breakfast, you will set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have a stopover at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand on 2 hemispheres at the same time and take memorable photos. You will continue to Mbarara town where you will have lunch before proceeding to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Have a relaxed evening at the lodge, Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After an early breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive in the park during which you will see Lions, Elephants, Topis, Leopards, Bush bucks, Cape Buffaloes, Waterbucks, Kobs, among others.

In the afternoon you will go for a two hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes George and Edward and view high concentrations of hippos, elephants and crocodiles among others. You will also see variety of birds at the water shores. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Ishasha Searching for Tree Climbing Lions

After an early morning breakfast, you will set off for a full day game drive in Ishasha the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This part is famous for its’ tree-climbing lions, While lion cubs around the world frequently climb trees for fun, adults rarely do. However, these lionesses enjoy spending the hot afternoons snoozing in fig trees to get away from the tsetse flies and to enjoy a cool breeze. This is the most memorable sight in the park as you have never seen such photogenic lions posing for your camera before. You will also enjoy the stunning scenery and superb birdlife in this southern remote section of the park.

Day 4: Travel to Kampala/Entebbe Airport
In the morning after your breakfast, you will check out at the lodge and set off to Kampala/Entebbe Airport with a stopover on the way either Mbarara or at the Equator for Lunch. And if time allows, you will do a brief city tour and later proceed to Entebbe Airport marking the End of your Safari.
