Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park

You will be picked up either from your Hotel in Kigali or the airport. Then our guide will transfer you to Akagera National Park to begin your Wildlife Safari in Rwanda. While on the way, you will pass through the country’s remarkable landscape which will give you views of the country’s beauty and also the life style of its people.

On your arrival in the park, you will go for a short southern Lake Ihema game drive. Look out for animals such as elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles and many more like Antelopes.

Day 2: Morning game drive and Boat ride on Lake Ihema

After your breakfast, you will go for a Northern game drive in search of animals that you may have missed out in the previous game drive including the newly introduced lions form South Africa. It is not a guarantee that all the animals can be seen during the game drive.

Return back to the lodge for a relaxation as well as lunch. After lunch, you will go for a boat ride on Lake Ihema which will offer you great views of the surrounding areas; hills and swamps. Expect to see Hippos, crocodiles and more bird species.

Day 3: Nature walk and transfer to Kigali Airport

After your breakfast, you will go for a nature walk in search of different bird species. Thereafter transfer to Kigali Airport for your flight.
