Explore Kigali city, the great mountain gorillas and the amazing cultures of Rwanda in 3 Days! This safari will take you through the capital city of Rwanda, Kigali, and jungle experience in Volcanoes National Park for Gorillas and Iby’iwacu cultural village!

Day 1: Travel to Volcanoes national park

In the morning, you will either be picked up from the airport on your arrival or your hotel depending on where you will be. Our driver will then take you for a short Kigali city tour exploring the major historic and cultural sites like the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center, Craft markets in Kigali, Kandt National Museum, and presidential museum depending on the time. After visiting some of these sites you will then have lunch. After, you will start the journey to the home of the mountain gorillas in volcanoes national park.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Volcanoes national park

In the morning after your breakfast, you will to proceed to the Park Headquarters for a briefing regarding gorilla trekking by the park rangers. You will hike through the verdant jungle looking for mountain gorillas. Some amount of physical fitness is needed during this activity since it involves a number of climb hills. The experience is tedious but impressive when you finally face these Mountain Gorillas.

In the afternoon after gorilla experience, you will go to visit the musanze caves.

Day 3: Cultural tour at Iby’iwacu cultural village

After your breakfast, you will explore a bit of culture at the Iby’iwacu cultural village to have a taste of the history and culture of Rwanda. Some of the members of this cultural village are former poachers who depended on the forest for survival. Thereafter, you will then be transferred to Kigali Airport to take your flight back home.
